FRIENDSHIP

BANSKÁ BYSTRICA 17. – 21. OKTÓBER

Azyl FRIENDSHIP is a unique project that was created as part of the Azyl SHORTS festival.

During this project, 25 students from 5 countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Ukraine) will form 5 mixed teams – “Friendshipers”. Their task will be to create a short film in a short time – 24 hours. During this time, they will go through the entire process of making a film (from the idea to the final artwork). Regardless of their field of study, they can try out all filmmaking positions and, most importantly, make new friendships and contacts for their future professional careers.

One of our important goals is to support cooperation between young filmmakers already during their student years.
The project is primarily intended for students of film universities. At the end, the final films will be screened in front of the festival audience and an international jury, which will select the best of them and the creators of this film will be awarded.

As part of the PROGRAM, there will be masterclasses and quizzes in English for foreign students and festival visitors.
