screenwriter, writer and dramaturg
As a screenwriter, he participated in the award-winning feature films Kandidát / The Candidate (dir. Karásek, 2013), Čiara / The Line (dir. Bebjak, 2017) and Smršť (dir. Bebjak, 2024), the horror anthology DOGG (2017) and the period television miniseries Moje povstanie / My Uprising (dir. . Karásek, 2014). As a dramaturg, he collaborated on television formats (Večera s Havran, Umenie), documentary projects (Budujeme Slovensko / Building Slovakia, Osamelí bežci: Ideme ďalej! / Lonely runners: We go further!), the animated series Slovenčina na slovíčko and the TV movie Jozef Mak (dir. Bebjak). He is the author of two novels Vtedy v Lošonci (KK Bagala, 2015) and Østrov (KK Bagala, 2019), which won several awards (Anasoft Litera Readers Award, Tatra Banka Foundation Award in the Young Creator category...) and were translated into German, French, Polish, Czech and Hungarian. He works as a professional assistant in the Screenwriting Studio at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He graduated from the Václav Hollar Art School and is a graduate of FAMU (Department of Directing and Animation). He was one of the main pioneers of graffiti in the Czech Republic after 1989 and belongs to the legends of the Czech scene (Skarf, TCP/ABX). As an artist and animator, he collaborated with several theater companies and represented the Czech Republic at Expo 2010 in Shanghai. He shot a number of music videos awarded at home and abroad (Anděl Award, Filter Mag, Brooklyn IFF, Chelsea Art Museum NYC, etc.). As a director, he started with the short film Konec jedince (2002) and continued with documentaries such as Operation In Out (2003), Break My Heart Please! (2006). . Architecture of the ČSSR 58-89 is his third full-length documentary film.
KRZYSZTOF SIENKIEWICZ
promoter of Polish cinematography, organizer of the IFF Żubroffka
Energetic promoter of Polish culture. He is an organizer and coordinator of Film Podlasie in Attack! Reloaded, a project that helps promote films and film-makers from the Podlachian region of Poland. He works for the Bialystok Cultural Center where he runs and organizes festivals such as the ZUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival and the Underground/Independent. He is co-organizer and tutor of several film workshops and youth exchange programs with Ukraine, The Czech Republic, Georgia and Poland as well as hundreds of film screenings in Europe. Additionally,as independent filmmaker he is the co-author of shorts ( last one is: Krańce świata – człowiek ryba/The ends of the world – fishman ) and documentaries ( last one is: Tandemem przez pogranicze/Tandem in borderland). In free time involved in activity of community Podlasie Makes Me Happy that promotes creative people and films from Podlasie/Poland the Eastern side of Poland and Europe. Fan of the borderlands and the ends of the world with all their possibilities.
